Protecting and Respecting your Privacy
This privacy statement describes how Light Pillar Software Ltd collects and uses the personal information you provide. It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your personal information and how you can access and update this information.
GDPR
As of 25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) will be in effect and change how organisations deal with the personal data of EU citizens. The GDPR aims to strengthen the security and protection of personal data in the EU and harmonize EU data protection law.
One important aspect of this new regulation states that we (Light Pillar) need your explicit permision in order to contact you, as a means of protcting you against unsolicited email. You can give us your consent by:
- Click on the 'Yes, keep me subscribed' button in any email we have sent you before the 25th May 2018
- You can 'Opt In' during the purchase process of any or our software
- Click on the 'Subscribe' button found on www.lightpillar.com.
If you do not grant your consent, we are leagally required to refrain from contacting you by any means after 25th May 2018.
You are free to change your mind at any time and click on the unsubscribe link that you will find at the bottom of all our emails. As always, we take your privacy very seriously and will never pass your details on to any third parties, or send you irrelevant content.
Location Services
We do not request, collect, or access your location information unless you give any app that requests this functionality, your specific permission.
Collection and Use
We collect demographic information such as gender and interests to:
- Improve our app and marketing efforts
- Conduct research and analysis
Purchasing
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Social Networks
We enable you to share information such as messages, photos, and videos with others within your network. We cannot control the actions of others with whom you may choose to share your pages and information. Also we cannot guarantee that the content you post on our site will not be viewed by others outside your network.
Information obtained from third parties
If you provide us personal information about others, or if others give us your information, we will only use that information for the specific reason for which it was provided to us.

Tracking Ads
We partner with a third party ad network to either display advertising on our App or to manage our advertising on other sites. Our ad network partner uses technologies to collect non-personally identifiable information about your activities on this and other Apps to provide you targeted advertising based upon your interests.
Security
The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
